Hverinn Campsite

Welcome to Hverinn restaurant and campsite, located on route 50 (Borgarfjardarbraut) in Kleppjárnsreykjum. The campsite offers 80-100 spacious spots for tents, trailers, and RV’s, with 60 of them equipped with electricity plugs. The site is nestled in a cozy and tranquil area surrounded by shrubs, offering a serene atmosphere for all campers. We have a variety of services available to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including walking paths, a playground, a restaurant, a swimming pool, showers, and waste disposal for mobile homes. If you prefer sleeping bag accommodation, we also offer that option. In addition to our facilities, guests can enjoy nearby amenities such as stores, gas stations, restaurants, coffee shops, and a post office. Our location is also just a 25-minute drive from Borgarnes in the direction of Húsafell. During the summer, our guests have access to the local school’s playground, soccer field, and basketball court, as well as the nearby swimming pool.
