Á Skarðsströnd Campsite

The Á campsite at Skarðsströnd is nestled on the southern side of the stunning Breiðafjörður fjord. It's a paradise for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The campsite offers an older section situated in a delightful forest near the rocks, and a newer section located near the farm. At the older section, you'll find a toilet and cold water sinks. The newer section features a new service house equipped with three toilets, hot and cold water, and 24 outlets for electricity. A large 100 square meter old barn is available for use, featuring ten tables and chairs, cooking facilities, microwave oven, washing machine, and showers. The campsite also offers many picturesque walking paths to explore, including a new path that leads to a breathtaking view of Breiðafjörður, just one km away.
