The Þingeyri swimming pool, established in 1995, is the most recent addition to the Ísafjarðartown municipality. Situated indoors, the pool shares its space with a sports hall, steam bath, and gym. In the spring of 2020, a hot tub was introduced to enhance the pool facilities.
