It is worth noting that the campsite operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are not accepted. The campsite is situated in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by the picturesque Kálfá river. It features a spacious flat area with around 60 electricity plugs, as well as several side areas for camping. A designated area next to the swimming pool is ideal for smaller groups. Additional amenities include toilets, hot water, showers, and cold water taps. Dogs are welcome on the premises. The Þjórsárstofa visitor centre offers a multimedia show about the Þjórsá river, northern lights, and the surrounding area.
