Situated on the left side of the road when arriving from the town of Rif, the campsite is located in the stunning Sandahraun lava field. Services available at the campsite include electricity, wifi, and a service house with toilets, showers, and washbins. There are also walking paths, a playground, and a restaurant on-site, and visitors can enjoy swimming in the nearby pool. The surrounding area boasts beautiful sandy beaches, and the sunset views from the campsite are truly breathtaking. The magnificent Snæfellsjökull glacier is also located nearby. Operated by the information center in Snæfellsbær, which is located in the nearby town of Ólafsvík, the campsite is open from May 1st to September 30th, 2022.
