At the Fjallabyggð Sports Center in Ólafsfjörður, you'll find a 8 x 25-meter swimming pool, along with two hot tubs at 38°C and 40°C, with one featuring a massage nozzle. The popular Fosslaug and children's pool, not to mention the two waterslides, add to the attraction. The smaller slide is 3.5 meters, while the larger one is an exciting 52.5-meter black hole slide. Additionally, there's a legal sports hall and a well-equipped fitness center on-site.

Constructed through volunteer efforts by members of the Sports Club Sameining in 1943-1945, the Ólafsfjörður Swimming Pool was handed over to the town of Ólafsfjörður and consecrated on July 1, 1945. Renovations in 2010 expanded the facilities, introducing two hot tubs, a children's pool, a Fosslaug, a 52.5-meter waterslide, and a smaller kids' waterslide. The main pool itself is sized 8 x 25 meters.
