Laugafell hot spring is a meticulously maintained, man-made lake with a pleasant summer temperature of around 38°C (100°F). Situated within the Laugafell campsite area, it features a spacious changing room with toilets and a well-constructed wooden path leading to the hot spring. Accessible in the central Icelandic highlands, reaching Laugafell requires at least a small 4×4 vehicle, and the choice of road and season may determine whether a small or large 4×4 is needed.
