The Borðeyri campsite is situated in a tranquil flat area, protected from the northern winds by windbreaks, and overlooks the serene seaside. This makes it an ideal location to take a leisurely stroll along the shore during the early morning or late evening, especially when the fjord is calm and peaceful. The campsite boasts a diverse bird life, and seals often visit the area, providing guests with a unique and memorable experience. The sunset viewed from the campsite is a spectacular sight to behold.
