Sundhöllin, Hafnarfjörður's oldest swimming pool, is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere.
The Pool and Facilities: Inside Sundhöllin, there is an indoor pool that measures 25 meters in length, 8.7 meters in width, and has a depth of 3.2 meters at the deeper end. Adjacent to the building, there are two spacious hot tubs in a secluded courtyard, equipped with powerful massage tools that enjoy significant popularity. Sauna facilities are available in dedicated male and female dressing rooms.
The pool is widely used by the elderly residents and locals in the vicinity. Sundfélag Hafnarfjarðar allocates part of its training schedule to the pool, and students from Víðistaðaskóli and Engidalsskóli attend school swimming sessions there.
Sundhöll Hafnarfjarðar initially featured an outdoor pool by Krosseyrarmalir, inaugurated in 1943. However, in 1953, Sundhöll Hafnarfjarðar came into use after the outdoor pool was covered.
