Vatnsholt Campsite

Welcome to Vatnsholt campsite, located in the picturesque Floahreppur region, only 15 km east from Selfoss. To get here, drive east from Selfoss towards Hella and after 7 km, take a right turn at the sign for Villingaholtsvegur (road nr. 305). Continue on this road for 7 km until you reach the sign for Kolsholtsvegur (road nr. 309). Take a right turn and then the first left, and drive until you reach the end of the road. Once you arrive, please visit the reception for information about camping and the location of electricity. Facilities include electricity, a restaurant with a billiard table, darts, foosball table and sports TV, waste disposal for mobile homes, fishing, walking paths, a playground, cold and hot water, toilets, and showers. Dogs are also allowed. At Hotel Vatnsholt, we are proud to offer some of the best views in the South of Iceland. You can admire the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains including Hekla, Tindfjöll, Eyjafjallajökull, and even the Westman Islands. Villingaholtsvatn is within walking distance, where you can enjoy fishing. Playground features a large castle and swings, and we also have football golf and a grass football field.
