In the summer of 2020, a service house with cooking facilities was added to the area. Dalir is a family-friendly destination with a rich history steeped in Icelandic sagas such as Laxdæla, Sturlunga, and Eíríkssaga rauða. Visitors can explore farms, fish in the lakes, hike along scenic trails, observe birds, visit museums, and much more.
