Conveniently located in the town center, the Selfoss Public Swimming Pool is within easy reach of major shops and services, offering ample parking for visitors. The facility houses an 18-meter indoor pool and a dedicated children's pool, while its outdoor section features a 25-meter pool, a children's pool equipped with three slides, a wading pool, steam room, sauna, and hot and cold tubs. With four changing rooms – two indoors and two outdoors – as well as accessible facilities for individuals with disabilities in both areas, the pool ensures inclusive access. A new annex building introduced in the summer of 2015 marked a significant enhancement, introducing a new indoor children's pool, an expanded reception area, and larger changing rooms. The upper floor hosts a World Class fitness center, sharing the reception with the swimming pool. As one of the largest swimming areas in the south of Iceland, the Selfoss public swimming pool attracts approximately 200 thousand visitors annually.
